Interview with Myisha McCarthy of SpringcartTuesday August 25, 2009

There is so much love and light in this place today because we feature Springcart, brought to you by Myisha McCarthy. Her creative spirit is all over every detail of her hustle, from packaging to photography to presentation and more. She encourages us all to stop waiting for the perfect moment and “just do it.”

Is there something you’ve been waiting to do for a while? Read the Springcart interview, show some love in the comments, and maybe you’ll be inspired to just do whatever that thing is.

What's Next for Respect The HustleMonday August 24, 2009

As we prepare to publish our last three interviews, we’re also gearing up for next month’s issue of Respect The Hustle. This inaugural month has been exciting and we are really thankful to the featured business men and women for sharing their stories.

We’ve received tons of emails from people on their own handmade hustle; since we couldn’t feature all of them we are putting together a special project just for handmade hustlers, so stay tuned!

The vision of Respect the Hustle remains the same: a connected community of daring entrepreneurs and leaders. This month has given us the opportunity to try new ways to achieve this vision. We want to extend an invitation to our readers to join us in the coming months as we grow into this connected community. As we move forward, we’re looking for editors, copywriters and scouts.

Editors will assemble the content for each issue through the month of December. The themes and schedules have already been compiled, but as content comes in, we need people to prepare a cohesive, visually entertaining and wholly inspiring magazine. One position is available.

Copywriters will review the interviews we receive for grammar, spelling and impact and help write teasers for each feature. One position is available.

Scouts will research hustles on- and off-line to feature in upcoming issues and maintain Respect The Hustle’s social media presence. One position is available.

For September and October these positions are unpaid, volunteer positions. Email hustle @ respectthehustle . com with your name, contact information and interest level.

Thank you for your continued support! We resume publishing tomorrow so don’t forget to come back!
